Ten ways to help Lambda scholarships in gay and lesbian studies - and you can enjoy the pride of giving during your own lifetime.

Write a cheque to Lambda Foundation.  Gifts over $35 are tax-receiptable.

Fund one year of a scholarship, $1000 to $5000.

Get together with ten friends, and contribute a scholarship as a group gift. This is how Lambda establish the Carleton University Lambda Foundation Award.

Throw a birthday party! Specify a gift for a special anniversary. Don Degenova and Chuck Mustard do.

Give Lambda Foundation your family cottage, unused vehicle, stocks or other property.  You may qualify for special tax advantages, while Lambda establishes more scholarships.

Put Lambda Foundation in your will, like Chris Landry, who hrough his bequest, established two new Lambda university scholarships.

Pick a university and set up a matching funding drive. (Lambda may be able to help get matching provincial funding.)

Use Canada Helps (online) Lambda Foundation converts regular funding into bursary accounts. Even small amounts help. You get a tax benefit, and put your funding to a good cause.

Purchase a specified insurance policy, for Lambda.  We will use it to set up a scholarship fund at a participating university. You benefit during your lifetime by immediate, annual tax credits.
