This annual celebration of gay and lesbian literature is our annual benefit to raise funds for Lambda Foundation scholarships. Now in its 15th year, Wilde About Sappho has become a national event, touring prize-winning and up-and-coming queer writers to a variety of Canadian cities. In 2005- we were in Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto, Guelph and Montréal.

Come celebrate with the Lambda Foundation at Wilde About Sappho’s 15th Anniversary Gala. Mix and mingle with authors and local and international personalities and meet some of the Lambda scholarship recipients. Enjoy the readings as Lambda showcases local, regional and other Canadian and international writers from the sexuality and gender mosaic.

Authors reading this year include Wayson Choy, Shani Mootoo and Barry Webster.

Proceeds will provide continued support for Lambda Foundation Scholarships.
Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $25 and up.
