Welcome to the website of the Lambda Foundation. We are a federally-incorporated, non-profit organization with a unique mission--to build bridges of understanding across Canadian communities by promoting the achievements and culture of gay and lesbian people. Lambda Foundation funds scholarships for gay and lesbian studies. If you are a student who would like to apply for a scholarship, you can find out more by visiting the Get a Lambda Fund page. Among other fund raising efforts, Lambda Foundation hosts an annual celebration of gay and lesbian literature called Wilde About Sappho, Canada’s largest literary tour of its kind.
